How and When to Apply Your Hormone Wholeness Therapy Cream
You will apply your daily hormone cream to the inner labia from day one (the morning after you receive your prescription). It’s very important that you understand where and how to apply it.
The inner labia is the skin on the inner side of the hair-bearing outer labia. It is the most absorbent area of a woman’s body, which is why our creams are so effective.
Think of your outer labia as double doors… or perhaps two closed flaps if that is a better image. The outside of these flaps has hair. Once you pull open the doors/flaps, the inside is smooth and without hair and is called the inner mucosal area. This is where you will put your cream. It feels like a little valley area on this underneath side, the perfect place to put your cream.

Remove the top cap from your hormone dispenser and turn the base one click to dispense your daily dose (when using it for the first time, you may need to click a few extra times to get it started), swipe it off using a clean finger, and rub it into one side of your inner labia skin for 20-30 seconds until no more white appears. If there is any more cream that has popped up at the top of your dispenser, use another finger, swipe it off and apply to the other side of your labia, and rub in for another 20 seconds or so.
Apply your cream in the morning around the same time every day. After showering is an excellent time but not a hard rule. Wash hands after applying. You may have some sensitivity such as irritation or slight burning for the first 30 minutes or so.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are a perimenopausal woman, who is still having menstrual cycles (regularly or intermittently), you should continue to apply your hormonal cream daily as directed. Since the cream is applied interlabially (not intervaginally), gently hold the labia open so that it is not in contact with the vaginal flow, wipe the area thoroughly to remove any surface blood, and then rub the cream in as usual for 30-60 seconds. The majority of the hormones absorb within that time frame and won’t be washed away, even if you are experiencing heavy flow.
